FP7 Innovation Platform for Aeronautics
Altran Switzerland is currently engaged on a project for the European Commission within the 7th Framework Program (FP7).
Our partners include EADS Innovation Works and Zeiss Optronics, leading companies in their industry. Zurich-based Micos, a fast growing spin off from ABB active in the space industry, is also involved. Our Altran colleagues for the Neo team in Belgium complete the consortium adding further knowledge on innovation methods.
Our task is to deliver a web-based Innovation Platform to manage the Innovation Process, with focus on for radical, far-sighted innovation in Aeronautics.
The general purpose of the tool is to promote innovation, in particular step changes, not only in technology but also in products or services, market, processes, organization, etc.
The users of the resulting web-based tool will be the organizations in the European Aeronautics industry. For each user organization, the community of users can access the tool via an internet browser.
Then they can work on the process from Generation and Capture of Ideas up to the Selection by the Executive implying committing resources for development as a project (Project Initiation).
